Utilizing the power of drama, recreation, and art to unite elementary students with high school mentors, KidPOWER effectively builds support systems and communication skills which follow children for the rest of their lives. Under the guidance of CARES staff, student mentors use engaging activities such as skits, crafts, and exercises in self-expression to help participants become more confident, competent problem solvers.

- Participation in performance-oriented activities builds self-esteem, people and problem-solving skills

Dates & Times:
Open to 3rd and 4th graders, this four-session program meets once a week for four weeks in the spring and fall.
The spring 2013 semester begins Wednesday, May 1st from 4:15 - 5:30 pm
