REFERRALS
Over the past 30 years, New Canaan CARES has developed strong connections with respected professionals in New Canaan and surrounding communities. CARES will gladly provide referrals to families and individuals in need of social and emotional counseling, including assistance with individual issues such as anxiety, depression, eating disorders, phobias, substance abuse, and issues impacting student learning; and family issues, including family discord, children of divorce and substance abuse. This complimentary service includes a suggestion of two or three therapists with whom CARES has relationships, not an exhaustive list of all trained professionals that provide service in an area. We have found that finding the right professional help in a time of crisis can be a burden on an already difficult situation. Additionally, we rely on your feedback about your experience with various professionals to enhance our recommendations in the future.
