VOLUNTEER OPPORTUNITIES
Each year, over 200 people contribute their time and talents to support the mission of New Canaan CARES. Some of our volunteers help out with one shift during our annual Kitchen Tour while others devote several hours each week to our Board to help CARES run smoothly. Each and every volunteer makes a difference and CARES could not offer the high caliber programs that we do without the help of these important people. Day-of-event assistance is needed at each house for the following times:
9:45am – 11:00am
11:30am – 1:30pm
1:15pm – 3:00pm

Snacks Needed for CARES’ After-School Programs
We are always in need of snacks for our after-school and Leadership Challenge programs. Approximately 20 snacks are needed for each session of Leadership in the fall and the spring. We gratefully rely on donations to fill this need and donations of individually packaged, non-perishable items are always accepted. Homemade items are greatly appreciated by the children, too.
